Welcome to David Rovics - Live in Hood River! Join us for an unforgettable evening of music at the Riverside United Church of Christ (Riverside UCC).
For more than three decades, global troubador David Rovics has uplifted the downtrodden, given voice to social movements, and has eloquently preserved and resurrected the forgotten histories of the struggles of people against power.
Through the decades, David's clever songwriting and clear voice has been the soundtrack and rallying call of countless battles of of labor, environmental, and peace movements. This night, he turns to Palestine, and the hundred-plus-years of struggle to obtain Palestinian freedom and human rights. All proceedes from this event will go to HEALpalestine.org , a non-profit providing medical care for the maimed children of Gaza.
