Wilmington, NC songwriter David Dixon continues to balance live performances with recording new music, following the recent release of his debut book, The Musician’s Gold Mine. The book reached #1 on Amazon’s “New Releases” in both Music Business and Songwriting categories. His latest single, “Before It Gets Too Cold,” recently surpassed 300K streams on Spotify.Dixon was awarded a 2023 Artist Support Grant by New Hanover County and was a finalist for the NC Artist Fellowship Award (NC Arts Council). An alumnus of the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston, he draws on pop, rock, blues, and soul influences. His EP The Game includes fan favorite “Across the Room” and features Korey Riker (John Legend) on horns for “Better With You By My Side.”
