Davey and The Midnights is an Americana and "cosmic boogie" band fronted by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Davey Allen. Formed in 2017 on the west side of Los Angeles, the group now calls Indianapolis, Indiana its home. Their sound is an eclectic mix of traditional country, blues, and psychedelia, drawing frequent comparisons to artists like Gram Parsons, J.J. Cale, Leon Russell, and the Grateful Dead. The project serves as a vehicle for Davey Allen’s songwriting, which is deeply rooted in the American songbook. Before focusing on The Midnights, Allen toured professionally for years, including a stint as a member of The Animals with Eric Burdon.
Davey and The Midnights have shared the stage with acts such as Kelsey Waldon, Eric Burdon, Arlo McKinley, Dale Watson, Nikki Lane, Cristina Vane, Chris Pierce, Angela Perley, Rob Leines, The Local Honeys, and the Deltaz. Their emotionally charged, high energy performances are not to be missed.
