Dave Storey has established himself as one of the leading drummers and first call sidemen on the London jazz scene. He is well known for the big, rolling sound on the drums and his work as a bandleader releasing two albums BOSCO in March 2019 and JOUSKA in 2020. CIRCEO, released in 2023, is the trio’s third full-length album which further confirms their status as a leading ensemble on the UK’s bristling creative jazz scene, showcasing not only their mastery of contemporary straight-ahead jazz but also ease at which they build their own structures within it.
