Originally known as the Bike and Badge Ride, organizers have renamed the ride to honor Mr. Dave Mungenast, Sr., a man who believed in his community, often helping many charities without expecting recognition. His support for the Bike and Badge Ride was no exception, and without his help, our ride would not exist today. Mr. Mungenast passed away in the fall of 2006 and we hope to honor him and his memory by renaming this event to "The Dave Mungenast, Sr. Memorial Bike and Badge Ride".Last year’s event was unfortunately a rainout, but the Dave Mungenast family was still able to support and raise money for the St. Louis BackStoppers. Over the last 19 years, over $500,000 has been raised through this event in support of BackStoppers.
This year’s event is on Sunday, September 28, 2025 and registration will be taken on-site from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the ride, which begins at Dave Mungenast Motorsports (located at 5935 South Lindbergh Blvd. directly adjacent to Dave Mungenast St. Louis Honda). Registration is just $25 for pre-registration online and $30 the day of with all proceeds benefiting the BackStoppers. T-shirts will be on sale during the time of registration.
