River des Peres Watershed Coalition invites experienced water quality monitors and interested citizens to participate in Bike with Your Boots On on Gravois Creek Greenway in St. Louis!Join us on September 27 at 9:00 a.m. Meet at the Tesshire Trailhead parking lot at the intersections of Grants Trail and Tesshire Drive, St. Louis, Missouri. No experience in water quality testing is required, but trained stream team monitors are needed. Trained water quality monitors will collect water quality monitoring data from sites and can offer opportunities for new trainees or interested citizens to observe.
Volunteers can bike ride on the greenway trail or drive directly to the monitoring sites. Everyone must wear a bike helmet if bike riding. Please bring a water bottle to keep hydrated and be prepared for the possibility of getting your feet wet. We can use the data collected throughout the day to have a snapshot of the health of the River des Peres watershed.
Please RSVP to [email protected] if you are interested! or at:
