Very Simple! We (Dave Love & Annie Kilcoyne) are teaming up to invite all of our friends, family, neighbors and community to join us as we gather food for our local Western Maryland Food Bank. And, we are inviting all of our fellow Downtown Cumberland Businesses to join us and participate by collecting items themselves.
Many are in need this time of the year, and especially this year as many people are experiencing financial hardship for a variety of reasons - and we want to help.
So, if you feel fortunate enough when you go through the line at the grocery store; would you mind grabbing a few extra items, or an extra bag of groceries (canned foods, dry goods, personal hygiene products), and bringing them to The Rug Shop at 37 Nort Centre Street in Downtown Cumberland on Friday November 14th from 5-9 PM.
We will have live music by Day Old News on Tilly's Living Room Stage from 6-9 PM and will be having a Gift-A-Way Basket Raffle throughout the evening.
Come join us and bring as much or as little as you are able. Or, just pop by and drop something off.
NO RULES AT THE RUG SHOP.
NO COVER.
The Rug Shop is BYO on all consumables.
