Often overshadowed by their male counterparts, the Daughters of Liberty were anything but quiet in the fight for American independence. This month's presentation brings their story to life, highlighting how Patriot women powered resistance from behind the scenes through boycotts, homemade goods, and bold community action. From spinning bees and creative tea substitutes to direct involvement in Revolutionary-era resistance, these women turned everyday skills into powerful tools of protest. You'll also hear about well-known figures like Abigail Adams alongside the many unnamed women whose determination and resourcefulness helped shape the course of the Revolution.
Join us for Part Two of our three-part series, "Road to Independence – Sparks That Ignited a Revolution," as MNTx celebrates America 250 with this special speaker series.
