The New York Times bestselling author of THE QUEENS OF CRIME returns to Sewickley.
About this Event

The Penguin Bookshop is pleased to welcome back local author Marie Benedict to celebrate the launch of her latest book! In Daughter of Egypt, Benedict transports readers from the glamour and turbulence of 1920s Britain and Cairo to the sands and lush shores of ancient Egypt as she weaves a story of a young woman who unearths the truth about a forgotten Pharaoh, rewriting both of their legacies forever. Marie will engage in a conversation about the book and her research process. The discussion should last approximately one hour, and will conclude with a Q&A from the audience.

This is a ticketed event, and advance registration is required. The price of admission includes a signed copy of the book, which will be available for pickup during check-in for the event.
