This special volunteer dating mixer brings singles together for an evening of giving back and getting to know one another—because sometimes the best way to meet someone great is while doing something good. 20% of the ticket sales will be donated back to Supply Hive.
The evening will begin with a hands-on volunteer activity in partnership with The Supply Hive, a Des Moines mutual aid nonprofit dedicated to nourishing and supporting the community through volunteer-driven initiatives. The organization works to provide essential supplies, food, and resources to marginalized neighbors while promoting sustainability and community care across the city.
Together, we’ll assemble lunches and hygiene kits that will be distributed locally to those who need them most.
After volunteering, the event transitions into a casual mixer where you’ll meet other singles in a relaxed environment. We’ll have a few light icebreaker games to help spark conversation and make meeting people easy and fun.
Whether you’re passionate about giving back or just looking for a refreshing way to meet someone new, this event is designed to create connections that go beyond small talk.
