About this Event
Data Day Texas becomes Data Weekend!
Since the beginng, was always held on a Saturday - for all the people whose bosses wouldn't give them the day off. And it was always a one day event - to keep the registration price down.
In the last several years, the number of attendees coming from outside Texas - and outside the US - has increased considerably. Many of these attendees have expressed their regret that the event was only one day. Following conversations with our overseas attendees, we discovered that they were as much interested in a second day of talks. Rather, they wanted more time to spend time with each other - and the speakers - in person.
So ... for 2025, we added a day-after event.... Data Discussions. - and it was a huge success.
By popular demand, we are bringing Data Discussions back for 2026.
Sunday Data Discussions
This is an event separate from Data Day Texas, and open exclusively to attendees of Data Day Texas. Data Discussions is a day of group conversations, birds of a feather, town hall style meetings, etc. No presentations. No slide desks. Just discussions between speakers and attendees - the stuff you can't do on YouTube.
To preserve the conversational aspect of the Sunday Data Discussions, only a maximum of 100 tickets will be sold.
You can purchase the Sunday Data Discussions ticket which you register for Data Day Texas - or you can register later - as long as tickets are still available.
Details available at the website. 2026 updates coming soon!
