The Data Analytics for Business Bootcamp is designed for people who are currently short-term unemployed (less than 12 months) and want to enter or re-enter the world of work but are facing skills-related barriers to securing employment.

The programme takes place 1 day per week over 9 weeks. During the programme, you will work in a collaborative, agile working environment to develop data and digital literacy skills to help you secure your first role in the fast growing Welsh tech scene.

Upon successful completion of the Data Analytics for Business Bootcamp, you will achieve a Level 3 Award in Data Analysis and be guaranteed an interview with a local tech employer. You will also receive one-to-one coaching to improve your employability skills and help prepare you for interview.

The Data Analytics for Business programme is aligned to the Agored Cymru Level 4 Diploma in Digital Content Management.

Learners will complete one module of the qualification, amounting to 11 credits. The qualification module is embedded into the programme structure with daily tutorials built in to support the completion of assessments.

There are no formal entry requirements for this programme. You do not need any previous education or experience to apply.

A member of the team will discuss your eligibility for funding during your application. Book an appointment to speak to the team at a time that is convenient for you.

You will be able to progress directly into a Graduate Job. You can also complete an Accelerated Apprenticeship in Digital Content Management or a Higher Apprenticeship in Data Analytics in your first employment.

This programme is funded by Welsh Government through the React Plus Scheme. Eligibility criteria for funding applies.

To apply for funding to attend this programme, you must be:

• Living in Wales; and
• Over the Age of 19; and

either:

• Unemployed for less than 12 months; or
• Aged 18 – 24 and currently unemployed

If you are ineligible for React Plus funding you may be able to fund yourself privately. The cost of this programme is £1,500.

The Data Analytics for Business Bootcamp is being delivered by iungo Solutions and is funded by Welsh Government.

Once we receive your initial expression of interest through Eventbrite, a member of the team will call you within 2 working days to assess your eligibility and support you to complete a full application to secure your space on the programme.

You will need to provide evidence of your eligibility to Careers Wales so that it can be verified Welsh Government. The application process can take 3-5 days so long as you provide the correct evidence on time.
