The 2025 Dash For Cash hosted by Spencer Park Surf Life Saving Club is back! Scrutineering:
Takes place Friday night and Saturday morning. All crews must complete scrutineering before racing.
Classes & Entries:
U23 and Open Male/Female classes
Maximum of 18 crews per class
Entries via Waves
2–3 rounds per class on Saturday (Mass Rescue, Assembly, and Single Rescue)
Finals held Saturday afternoon (time permitting) and Sunday morning
Race Rules:
Standard SLSNZ IRB Racing Rules apply
Mass Rescue: one patient, picked up on first turn buoy
Single Rescue: elimination-style final — seven crews start, reducing to four for the final
Points accumulate across rounds to determine top six crews for the A Final; C and B Final winners progress up
Prize money (A Final): 1st $425, 2nd $225, 3rd $125, 4th $50
Programme:
Released after entries close. Designed to provide plenty of meaningful racing across all categories.
Social Function:
Finger food and social gathering on Saturday night at Spencer Park SLSC following racing.
