About this Event
Learning to speak in public is hard enough. But when we add layers of complexity and frameworks and processes, it becomes near impossible.
Each month, join Speakstarter Darwin for our friendly, small and encouraging public speaking club,.
In each meeting you will learn:
- One actionable technique to become a better speaker
- You'll prepare a short 60-second speech to practice your new skill
- You'll get a topic to prepare for next month
- You'll get constructive and helpful feedback in a safe environment
If the idea of public speaking terrifies you - or if the idea of a public speaking club scares you even more, then you've found the right place.
Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at Darwin Innovation Hub, Level 1 in the Cube room from 5.30 pm.
Tea, coffee, cold water and biscuits are provided.
Note: If you do not wish to speak on any night, you are free to pass without fear of judgement. You will never be forced to speak against your will or coerced. Children over 13 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Facilitator holds a current national police check and ochre (Working with Children) card.
For privacy reasons, participants must attend in-person only.
No online options or recordings are provided.
