Presented by the Colorado based 'Dart Echo' (Matt Smiley - bass, Briana Harris - sax, Ben Parrish - guitar, Dru Heller - drums), this special set of Sunday shows explores the musical universe of The Talking Heads.Dart Echo was founded in 2015 and has performed compositions by Paul Motian, Nick Drake, David Bowie, 1960s classic jazz, as well as original music written by band members. With this crossover jazz project, the grooves of David Byrne's songs will stay intact while the harmony and improvisations wander freely over the top. With the goal of capturing the energy of the iconic 'Stop Making Sense' concert, Dart Echo will play hits and B-sides from all across the Talking Heads catalogue.
Special Youth/Community Matinee: 4:30-5:40pm
Our youth/community matinee performances offer standard bar seating reservations and $10 youth/community tickets for families, youth and students. Youth/Community tickets give younger people in our community an oppoprtunity to experience the jazz art form live on stage. Who better to kick this off with than one of the world's finest jazz drummers? Community matinee sets run from 4:30 - 5:30pm. We'll have discounted options available for our sound bites menu and select beverages (both adult and kid-friendly).
