2025 'Spirit Of The Fringe' award-winners; nominated 'Best Music Show' award.‘An immediate, and richly deserved, standing ovation’ Buxton Fringe Review.
Darren Poyzer and Trish Plant deliver original songs, banter and quirky domestic bliss, seeking harmony in the human condition as technological wonder and political instability bring exciting new challenges.
It's 40 years since Darren first made his way to Buxton Fringe to attend a Kevin Fegan poetry reading. That night he recalls, gave him the desire to write and perform.
Now with harmonica player Trish alongside, the songwriting is flourishing and their new show for 2026 promises a rollercoaster of emotions, inspiration and hearty smiles.
Songs to listen out for include a shout-out for self-awareness courtesy of 'An Angry Young Voice In The Blood', a boy lamenting the loss of his father in 'A Little Song By Springsteen', and a riotous singalong antidote to media pest and politicians puppet 'Gestapo Barbie'.
