British Triathlon 2022 Great Britain Age Group Team Qualifier - Sprint DuathlonThis is a non-draft legal, traffic-free duathlon on the Darley Moor race circuit. There will be up to three waves throughout the morning/early afternoon (ages are as of 31/12/2021). Each wave will be restricted to 70 entries and will have a time trial format start with participants starting at short intervals - further details on wave composition will be published in August 2021. If the event sells out we will look to add additional waves where possible.
Participants aiming to qualify for the AG Sprint Distance World Championships will need to register their intent through the British Triathlon AG Website by Friday 17th September 2021.
he event will comprise:
Run Leg 1 - 4.8km - Two laps of the path around the circuit
Cycle Leg - 18.3km - Eight laps on the tarmac circuit (not draft legal)
Run Leg 2 - 2.4km - One lap of the path around the circuit
The race will be chip timed. There will be prizes for the winner of each age group, but as presentations are currently not permitted, these will be mailed out after the event.
