The formation of the Darlene Plavchak Memorial Scholarship Fund was how we felt we could best honor Dar and allow her to continue her legacy of educating students. This scholarship will be used to help any graduating Highland senior who wishes to pursue an educational career. We hope that by offering this scholarship we offer a student the opportunity to remember howgreat an impact a teacher can have on a student.
We are thrilled to have secured Apple Greens Golf Course in Highland, NY for a kickoff
fundraiser for the Darlene Plavchak Memorial Scholarship Fund. This June 20, 2026, we will come together to remember Dar with golf, food, live music, raffles, a silent auction, and lots of laughter.
