Teaming up with their good friends Band On The Wall to offer you a free cup of coffee a slice of musical wonderment on Saturday 11th May, entry is free throughout the day – all you need to do is turn up with your good self and have a nice relaxing afteroon, enjoy the sounds and of course the complimentary coffee.
A small Dark Woods shop will be set up if you would like to grab some beans to go. Full bar service will be in operation in the bar area.

/ Dave Kane: Born in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland Kane is a Double Bass player, composer and band leader. A founder member of L.I.M.A. (Leeds improvised music association) and musical director/ composer for the L.I.M.A orchestra.
Kane has played with British Jazz legends including Evan Parker, Keith Tippett, Paul Dunmall, Elton Dean, Tony Levin, Mark Sanders, Alex Maguire, Paul Rogers and many others.
/ Matthew Bourne: With a reputation as a fearlessly unpredictable pianist and composer, Matthew Bourne is a passionate explorer of sound, possessed of a burning desire to make music on anything old, broken or infirm – having taught himself the basics of both conventional and prepared piano (by throwing confectionary into his school’s instrument), these experimentations were to quickly find their place amongst Bourne’s early public performances.
Perennially in demand as a collaborator and co-conspirator, Bourne has his fingerprints on a huge number of projects, having worked with artists as diverse as Broadway Project, Daylight Music, Alabaster Deplume, Brian Irvine, Jameszoo, Nostalgia 77, Annette Peacock, Amon Tobin, Marcus Vergette, Mike Westbrook, and John Zorn.
