Dark Ambient and Wine I 11th April I 19:00 I Hosted by Port9 and Worship Bookings I FREE ENTRYWe are absolutely thrilled to announce a very special event, where three of the most exciting experimental ambient acts in Iceland come together to worship Bacchus, the God of wine, of earthly pleasures and otherworldly sentiments.
🍷 We pair each artist with the wine whose notes remind us of their music; the selected wines will be on special offer for 1500,- during the whole night.
HEKLA // Occultum Lapidem 🔴 – With her theremin and dark soundscapes, Hekla paints a white canvas with black tar. She hypnotizes and captivates, building brick by brick a brutalist performance to remember. As a pairing, we have a great dark garnet-red colored wine, a rich and intense nectar starting strong, and ending with fresh notes.
OSMĒ // Von Winning Sauvignon Blanc ⚪ – A cosmic journey, an electric voyage where the audience plunges in the depths of sonic Atlantis. The trio performs a cleansing ritual, from all that is mundane, from all that is only human. In line with their music, the chosen pairing is a citrusy white wine that lingers like a reverb.
ÓLÖF RÚN // Segura Vuidas Reserva 🥂 – The mellow voice of this one-woman act is met with the heart-accelerating heights of the theremin sound. It invites you to come closer, to think closer, to feel closer. Our wine pairing is a classic and regal sparkling, which is nonetheless exciting on the palate, bringing a new perspective in a timeless dimension.
