About this Event
Beginning at Sevenoaks Station, this point-to-point adventure traces the River Darent as it winds north through chalk valley scenery, peaceful villages, riverside meadows, and ancient parkland. Our route takes us through Otford, Shoreham, past the historic Lullingstone Castle, onward through Darent, before reaching the impressive Thames Flood Barrier at Dartford. From there, we finish at Dartford Station.
This is a walk that truly showcases the changing character of Kent — from North Downs countryside to riverside lowlands — offering a full day of steady, satisfying miles and classic valley views.

Terrain: The terrain slopes gently down from Sevenoaks to Dartford with the occasional incline.

We welcome friendly dogs on our walks, provided they remain on a lead at all times. The owner is fully responsible for their dog throughout the walk.
We take photos during our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you prefer not to be included, just let us know on the day.
Cancellation policy states: Full payment becomes due if a user cancels within 7 days of the activity. Any person cancelling between 7-14 days prior to the event, will receive a credit of £15 available to use within 90 days (this is to cover the cost of the medal). Cancel at least 14 days before the event to receive a credit note for a future walk, valid for 90 days.
