Course Description: Too often, belly dance students & pros alike find themselves nervous & overwhelmed when taking on the challenge of the mighty drum solo. After all, it is a display of a dancer’s technical abilities, musicality, presence, confidence & personality all rolled into one. There is no hiding in the drum solo! Dare To Drum Focuses on the Following: Hour 1: 12:30-1:30 pm focuses on tremendous technique, stabilization & body mechanics, musicality & how to select appropriate movements for your music.
Hour 2: 1:30-2:30 pm geared toward more advanced dancers & those who like a challenge, will focus on sharp isolations, navigating high speed music, stage presence, & little details that wow
Dancers of all levels are welcomed, but hour two is geared toward advanced dancers & those who love a challenge.
Free Parking is on the premises. Please bring water, a notebook, & anything else you need to be comfy!
*Please note: Classes are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another dancer by emailing [email protected]
