Thursday, April 30, 2026, 7-9pm - Darcy Scott & Laura Taylor @ The Battery CafeDarcy Scott is an award-winning Indie-Folk songsmith from Newfoundland and Labrador. He has been performing across Atlantic Canada and Ontario. His debut EP Wasted Spaces showcases a blend of honest and heartfelt songs that stay with you long after the last chord. This release would go on to win Darcy the MusicNL award for Folk/Roots Artist Of The Year (2023). He is currently working on his first full-length album, which is set for release in 2026.
Fresh off a performance of her original songs in South Carolina for Towns in Tune, Laura Taylor returns to the stage in St. John’s at the Battery Cafe. Since releasing her debut album By Chance in 2019, Laura continues to establish her voice in the St. John’s jazz scene while stepping into her original singer-songwriter work. Laura brings to the stage her own music along with covers by some of her favourite artists.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.
Our Kitchen closes at 3:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.
Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.
Seats will be held for 30 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
