Spherical Lens Photography with Marian WillingBring your camera (or cell phone) and a tripod to this one!
This presentation will cover some of the ways to use spherical glass lenses to create interesting images by photographing ordinary subjects through the lens. Topics will include appropriate subjects, gear and settings, along with some tips for getting the most out of this type of photography.
This technique can be used with any camera or even a cell phone. There will be an opportunity for participants to experiment with provided spherical lenses at the end of the presentation so bring your camera (or cell phone) and a tripod to give it a try. There will also be a drawing for some lucky folks to take home a spherical lens at the end of the session.
Meetings of the Doña Ana Photography Club are free and open to the public.
Our in-person meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:15 pm at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 518 N. Alameda Blvd, Las Cruces, NM 88005. Enter the parking lot from W. Mountain Ave. and enter through the Parish Hall door at the back of the building.
