Known to some through his contributions to the oeuvre of Plato’s Dream Machine, and to others from the Malta Jazz Fest, Daniel Sant is a multifaceted composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist based in the Netherlands. At 27 years old he currently holds the piano chair in the Amstel Big Band, has multiple own releases under his belt and has played with the likes of Bert van der Brink and Seamus Blake.Sant invites bassist and composer Anthony Saliba, a household name who has played and recorded with Brikkuni, Dominic Galea and many others, and the two of them bring to Offbeat their creative renditions of songs from the Great American Songbook. Each of these players is a treat, and together they are a must-see.
