Daniel Colalillo: Sonatas Through the Ages
Daniel Colalillo makes his Carnegie Hall Debut this April and is happy to bring this program to Nashville with a recital entitled "Sonatas Through the Ages." This is a Journey of 200 Years of Sonata Evolution, which explores how the piano sonata has transformed across centuries. The program includes works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Liszt, and Scriabin.

Daniel Colalillo is an NYC-based pianist praised by The New York Times for performances of depth and musical integrity. He has appeared in concerts at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and Steinway Hall, and has performed widely across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to his recital appearances, he is an active concerto soloist, and this recent season included Beethoven’s Concertos Nos. 3 and 4. He is the Artistic Director of Classical Keys, a chamber music series based in NJ and NYC, now in its sixth season, presenting leading musicians from the NY Phil, the Met Opera, and beyond. His debut album, Mostly Scriabin (recorded at Steinway Nashville) has been widely praised, and he is an active advocate for new music. On April 27, 2026, Daniel makes his Carnegie Hall debut, giving the world premiere of Lowell Liebermann’s Piano Sonata No. 4.
