Cathedral Keys 🎹☀️🎶
Vibrant talent for glowing summer evenings
In partnership with the , we present this recital from one of their prizewinners.
Daniel Carroll is a third-year student at the Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia, PA) studying with Alan Morrison and Jeffrey Brillhart. As well as being a NIIOC prizewinner, he was awarded first prize at the 2025 Taylor National Organ Competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
Taking full advantage of the cathedral's pipe organ (built in 1879), he fuses pieces from his homeland with reflections from his time studying in France. Fire and energy characterise a programme that is also packed with sensitivity and expression—also featuring a solo singer at points. Don't miss this dazzling concert from a true rising star!
