Dangė Records launches with Teatre's Overtime EP, a vinyl release exploring the liminal temporality of after-hours existence. Lithuanian producer Viktoras Urbaitis crafts cinematic electronic music that channels the particular melancholy of fluorescent-lit office spaces and nocturnal urban landscapes, inspired by the diaries of 90s Lithuanian writer Jurga Ivanauskaitė.
The presentation features a live performance by Teatre, alongside the unveiling of the collaborative vinyl artwork by Eglė Kontrimienė Degutis.
Founded by Matas Petrikas (EXEM, Matisse, SoundCloud), Dangė Records focuses on live electronic music culture of Lithuania - releasing sounds from one of Europe's most concentrated electronic music ecosystems to audiences beyond national borders. With quarterly vinyl releases pairing musicians and visual artists, the label emphasizes durability, collaboration, and the kind of electronic music that acknowledges its own depth.
