Somewhere out beyond the breakers… beyond the static… beyond respectable volume levels…DangerForce5 is coming.
A surf/tiki instrumental supergroup assembled under the questionable supervision of Professor Jimi Chimichanga, Esq., hailing from Sacramento, California and armed with enough reverb to start small weather systems.
This isn’t polite beach music.
This is wild-eyed instrumental surf soaked in the DNA of Dick Dale, The Challengers, The Astronauts, the cosmic chaos of Man or Astro-Man, and the cinematic danger of Ennio Morricone soundtracks drifting through a desert gunfight at sunset.
Fast tremolo picking. Spaghetti western tension. Space-age weirdness. Drums that hit like rogue waves against the hull of a smuggler ship.
One minute you’re sipping a cocktail under bamboo lanterns…
Next thing you know you’re mentally outrunning federal agents down a Baja coastline in a stolen speedboat.
That’s the kind of night this is shaping up to be.
July 18th. 8PM.
DangerForce5 at Pele Utu.
No brakes. No lifeguards. No guarantees.
