About this Event
Real stories. Real Consequences. Real hope for recovery.
Recovery Resource Council is premiering Dancing With Death, a powerful documentary featuring families who have lost loved ones to fentanyl, survivors of overdose, and individuals in recovery from opioid addiction across North Texas and southern Oklahoma.
Produced by Dallas Area Drug Prevention Partnership, Recovery Resource Council, and Texoma HIDTA, the film blends deeply personal stories with expert insight from professionals and recovery advocates. While it does not shy away from the devastating impact of fentanyl, the film ultimately delivers a message of awareness, resilience, and hope—underscoring that recovery is possible and prevention matters.
Check-in begins at 1:30 pm with the program starting promptly at 2:00 pm. A panel discussion/Q&A will follow the film, featuring representatives from law enforcement, mental health professionals, and individuals whose stories were featured in the documentary.
