Our new community Sefer Torah, kindly donated by Mark & Madye Shmidt, in loving memory of their beloved son Dr Adam Shmidt, OB"M, will soon be completed.
There is a joyous ceremony where we conclude the writing, and welcome the Torah scroll to the shul, where it will be read from during the prayer services. This event is known as the Hachnasat Sefer Torah - welcoming a Torah scroll.

2) 12:00 noon - Following the completion, we will head out to Chabad in an exciting Torah Car Procession. Parking will be at Sunquam Elementary School.
3) 12:30 pm - We will them continue with a walking parade with dancing and singing to Melville Chabad, united as a community, as we welcome this new Torah to its new home.
