Dancing Freedom is a practice of liberation. It is a somatic, ecstatic and shamanic dance practice supporting the emergence of living oneness. Connecting people to their bodies, hearts, each other, the earth and the cosmos. It heals. It reveals. It welcomes.Within a ritual of sacred ceremony, we enter a DANCE portal ~ an elemental wave of Earth ~ Water ~ Fire ~ Air ~ Ether.
A space whereby all parts of you are welcomed and explored through the medicine of dance, ceremony and common-Unity.
Awaken your Body. Open your Heart. Express your Essence. Love your Shadow. Expand your Light.
☆ Event flow:
We start with a warm up, opening circle, then dance an elemental wave. After dancing we complete the journey with a closing circle, an opportunity for sharings of reflection.
Please wear comfy clothes you feel good to dance in and bring a water bottle.
No dance experience required, you cannot do it wrong, every dance is medicine!

About your facilitator...
Dance, be thy medicine! Many dancefloors of wood and earth have lovingly held Kirsty through most of her years.
Kirsty is an embodiment facilitator, an ethereal mystika, a dancer and bridge for the sacred ways.
Expressive movement through dance has always been part of her creative soul, then discovering the wonderful teachings of yoga around 10 years ago, she feels blessed to have discovered these beautiful expressions of healing. Kirsty wishes to offer transformational spaces for others to deeply explore the medicine of dance and yoga, and support in the collective evolution happening on this beautiful planet Earth.
A lifelong learner, philosophy and myth have always captured her heart, and the subtle-attunement, prana centred practices are where Kirsty shines her light.
Embracing light and shadow, Kirsty embodies inspiration for others to connect with curiosity to their unfolding soul path, and to celebrate their unique gifts and own inner wisdom.
Amongst spending countless hours on the dancefloor and attending workshops, Kirsty's initial further education and service was within Youth Work and Community Services, and more recently explored the weavings of Yoga, completing Australian Yoga Academy's Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching, and Hanuman Academy's Tantra Yoga Psychology and 5 Elements of Yoga.
Most recently, Kirsty became a Dancing Freedom facilitator and offers unique and playful conscious dance events.
