Dancing for the Liberation of All Beings

A Community Drum-Circle led by will prelude ecstatic dance 9:30am-10:30am with Ecstatic Dance 10:30am-12:30pm every Third Saturday of the month with a soothing acoustic sound-bath often included before and/or after dance.

Pay for parts of the event or the whole event! A pay-at-the-door Sliding scale fee of $15-$25 for the drum-circle, sound-bath, and dance! No one is turned away due to lack of funds. Proceeds go towards space fee and local immigrants in need.

No previous experience is necessary. Chairs are provided for any needed accommodations.

Special Instructions: Ear-plugs for those who are ear-sensitive are recommended. Bring a water-bottle and comfortable clothes to move in! Bring a yoga mat and/or cozy items for the sound-bath!

The Rules: 1) Dance-floor is conversation-free. 2) Come Sober. 3) Dance barefoot (unless medical condition prohibits). 4) Consent-based partner dancing. 5) Silence electronics + No taking pictures/videos of event.

Info: Some drums are provided, although please bring your sound-makers! No prior experience necessary. The circle is all about creative expression, music games, simple rhythm instruction, and harmonizing through the love of music. The 9am drum circle will continue every 3rd Saturday before dance for the fall/winter season!
