This is not your average dance class - this is Dancegasm: a pIayful, sexy, judgment-free space to move, explore, and feel yourself. Expect juicy music, simple prompts, lots of movement and flow, and zero pressure to “look” any kind of way.

This is a guided, sensuaI, creativity-forward movement experience designed to help participants dance their way out of the thinking mind and into the feeling body. It isn’t about choreography or performance. Participants are always dancing for themselves even while sharing space with others.The goal is presence, pleasure, flow, and circulation of Eros energy.

Warm-up

• We begin with a gentle warmup to get out of our heads and into our bodies. Think: stretching,rocking, and connecting to the flow of the music.
• We start to break habitual movement patterns, break up blockages, and get pIayful while exploring the space.
• This is when we set personal intentions for the night.

Guided Dance Hour

• The facilitator will guide you through different styles of movement with various prompts.
• We tend to introduce one scenario or theme per song to allow full exploration without interruption.
• You can interpret prompts abstractly. Examples include texture-based, sensation-based, or imaginative prompts. (Think: “You landed on planet sexy and are exploring what your version of sexy feels like, and moves like!”)
• Some prompts may inspire you to dance with others - these interactions are ALWAYS opt-in and based on mutual comfort. All are expected to uphold our safety culture surrounding things like initiating connections, reading body language, checking in with yourself, and opting out.

Exploratory Dance/Pl@y Hour

• At this point, you can dance and explore freely without any suggestions from the facilitator.
• We will begin this hour with engagement around consent & safety to clarify etiquette and expectations.
• You may opt-in to interactions with others, dance on your own, or socialize by the snacks.

Exploratory Dance Plus Hour

• At this point, you can dance and explore freely without narration of the facilitator.
• We will begin this hour with a consent & safety speech to clarify etiquette and expectations.
• You may opt-in to interactions with others, dance on your own, or socialize by the snacks.

1. Come Alone or With Someone! Come solo or bring a partner, a friend, a group of coworkers, your frenemies, or your entire polycule! During the exercises, you'll have the opportunity to interact with other students & switch partners, which allows for practicing with familiar partners and new acquaintances. We do not pair people up and encourage guests to make friends and engage to their level of comfort. Couples can stay paired the whole time or choose to practice with others.
2. Dress Code: Feel free to dress however you want but make sure you can move freely comfortably. We recommend athletic wear you feel hot in, bodysuits, leggings, mesh, or sexy underwear (that you can move freely in). While we provide water and cups, we recommend bringing your own bottles of hydration!
3. Who Can Come: This session is open to all gender identifications, orientations, lifestyles, singles, and couples. All experience levels are welcome. 21+

By attending, you agree to participate at your own risk, conduct your own risk management, and agree to hold the event facilitators and facility harmless for any type of physical or emotional harm that may occur.
