Join us as we launch our new series at our beautiful studio space, Alchemia Studio.
This special night will be a celebration of expression, dance, and community in a more intimate setting, designed to complement our larger monthly dances.
This week, Joey Greiner guides us on our ecstatic dance journey along with Julia Signer as our warm-up facilitator.
ABOUT
Joey Greiner has been moving dancefloors for over 18 years in his native NYC, across the US & Europe. He weaves deep and funky grooves with Afro and Latin rhythms to lead you on a journey into your most primal instincts to move your body.
His wildly popular party Tribal Disco infuses live instruments and performances with energetic DJ sets, creating an unforgettable interactive experience for the crowd.
Joey has been a staple in the NYC Ecstatic Dance community sharing vibrant sets of global beats from the Dance Beyond retreats to Judson Church & more
Julia Signer is a Priestess from the ancestral cobra lineage of the Himalayas. She has been teaching embodied spiritually since 2001, giving classes on Tibetan Yoga and Oriental Dance. She also lead around 70 spiritual retreats on different knowledges. She has a Master’s Degree in the Science of Religion. She is Brazilian and lives in a temple in Rio de Janeiro. Julia is in New York in January and February and is excited to share her knowledge. She will opening the dancefloor with Tibetan Yoga. Look out for her upcoming dance immersion workshop on February 9th here at Alchemia Studio!
