Absolutely no dance experience necessary! At Dance Adventure Camp children ages 5-8 will explore a new exciting place each day. Daily themes include: outer space, the jungle, the land of make believe and more! Campers will explore foundational dance concepts like shape, level, size, and energy, and learn basic ballet vocabulary. Children will have the opportunity to express their creativity, embrace their artistic side through arts and crafts, and experience the joy of movement during their week of camp at North Star Ballet.
*Dance Adventure Camp Session 4 may be combined with Fairy Tale Dance Camp Session 2 to create a full day experience for children ages 6 and older.

What to Wear:
Any comfortable clothing you can move in. Leggings, t-shirts, sweats, shorts, leotards, tights, ballet shoes, socks, bare feet are all fine. We will be dancing outside each day (weather permitting) so please send your child to camp with sneakers and a light jacket. Campers with long hair should style it away from the face in a ponytail, braids, bun, or similar so it does not get in their eyes while they are dancing.
What to Bring (please label EVERYTHING with child’s name):
Jacket
Water bottle
Hearty snacks - campers will be moving a lot and hungry kids are grumpy kids!
Ballet slippers if you have them
Sneakers/good walking shoes
Sunscreen / Bug spray / Rain gear (be prepared!)
Pick Up & Drop Off:
Please drop your camper off between 12:45 and 1pm and pick them up between 4 and 4:15pm. You will need to accompany your camper into the building to sign them in and out. If you are more than 15 minutes late to pick up your child we charge a $1 per minute late fee.
