About the book

We Share This Earth is an appreciation of our global community and the many ways in which it helps develop empathy, compassion, and collective responsibility. Specific examples of shared community are depicted across twelve countries, inviting young readers to connect with and acknowledge the importance of caring about and for one another, and the Earth we share.

About the author

Dan Saks is a musician and author. He has lived and taught in NYC, Mexico City, and Switzerland and has traveled the world as a performing musician. He is the creator and host of Noodle Loaf, a popular music education podcast for kids which has been awarded a Webby Honor and the Common Sense Media Seal of Approval. He has written a board book series celebrating diverse family experiences, (Families Belong, Families Can, Families Grow) as well as a series about community (We Share This School, We Share This Earth, We Share This Neighborhood [out 8/24]).



About Joshua David Stein

Joshua David Stein is a journalist, author and editor. He has served as the editor-at-large at Fatherly, the editor-in-chief of Blackbook, and the senior editor at Departures. He is currently editor-in-chief of AVENUE. His work has appeared in the New York Times, New York, Esquire, GQ, Hemispheres and many other publications. Previously, Stein was the restaurant critic for the Village Voice and the New York Observer. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his family.
