Nashville based artist, Damon Mitchell is "cosmic cowboy meets hippie psychedelia.” This artist's hook- laden, musical-wares cleverly combines influences from the past and present in a unique concoction that will undoubtedly become his signature.
Damon enjoyed numerous praises from notable press outlets for his 2021 full length album, "Like You're In A Dream." Since his debut release EP, "Elise," in 2019, he has shared the stage with artists such as Foreigner, Blue Oyster Cult, Matthew Perryman Jones, and has joined legendary band “America” as a guest artist for live performances of their timeless hit “Horse With No Name.”
Mitchell has additionally worked in renowned studios across the U.S. and into Europe, including London’s extraordinary Abbey Road Studios. Many notable guest artists appear on Damon's rapidly growing discography - proving that this young artist's respect for his influencers is clearly reciprocated.
On November 1st, 2024, Damon released his "Father Sun" EP featuring his father, Max Mitchell, as well as longtime drummer, Aaron Roy. Recorded at the legendary, "Sun Studios," this record celebrates the Mitchells' history in southern gospel and combines it with country and rock elements that underpin Damon's signature sound.
Recently, Mitchell's 2024 music video "Please Come Again" was awarded "Music Video Of The Year (Male)" at The Josie Music Awards hosted at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN.
