Damin Spritzer is Associate Professor of Organ at the University of Oklahoma, Artist-in-Residence at Cathedral Arts (Dallas), and the first American woman to record at Hereford Cathedral. The AAM Journal described her playing as "music that comes alive under her touch."Packed with fireworks, her programme is a celebration of American organ music, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States. It opens with Philip Glass's mesmerising Dance No. IV, travels through music by Becker, Lucke, Faxon, and Wright, before closing with George Baker's electrifying Te Deum. Along the way there are detours to Scotland: an arrangement of the Skye Boat Song by the late David Aprahamian Liddle (d. March 2026), and the Paean by Wilfred Emery, former organist of Glasgow Cathedral.
