Getting there: The parade route begins at Commerce and Houston Streets downtown. Pro tip – DART is the best way to get to downtown Dallas for the Dallas Holiday Parade. DART’s rail stations and bus stops get you within blocks of the parade route, and you can avoid the hassle of parking. The parade starts at Commerce and Houston streets. Be on the lookout for festive floats, marching bands, dance teams, giant balloons and, of course, special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
