Talk by Hilary Davis on the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel. (EAPPI)
Hilary returned from the West Bank in July, having spent three months in Jericho as an EAPPI volunteer.. Since the 7th October 2023, the two checkpoints which split the Jordan Valley from the rest of the West Bank have created many problems for local Palestinian communities.
The EAPPI volunteer programme is currently suspended in the Gaza Strip but volunteers have been able to continue their work for peace in the communities in other areas. Hilary will talk about the Economic, Medical and Environment impacts of these two checkpoints on the local communities . (The picture below is from the EAPPI website)
