About this Event
Love journalling? Hate waste? You'll love this afternoon of creativity as we transform recycled and found materials into deeply personal journals that you'll treasure.
Junk journals take journalling to the next level: the book itself is a creative expression of who you are, and the pages include mementoes and prompts chosen by you.
Together we will each create a personal journal from scratch: cover, pages, secret pockets, bookmarks and hand-bound finishes.
This relaxed pace, small group workshop is designed for beginners. You will leave feeling inspired to continue journal making and journalling at home.
We will provide:
- a selection of materials and all the tools you need for journal making
- guided step-by-step instructions
- organic, Fairtrade hot drinks and palm oil-free biscuits
What to bring
- Scrap paper, greetings cards, gift wrap, etc. that you can use use to build your junk journal.
- Any meaningful papers, fabrics, ribbons, mementoes that you would like to incorporate into your journal.
