We’ve seen several lineup changes over the past couple years and somehow the band manages to level up every time. Bassist Tyler Miles has been a notable addition with his relentless energy and musical prowess. Fiddle virtuoso Elijah McCullough is the band’s newest ace. He electrifies the mix with roots ranging from bluegrass and old time to Turkish gypsy and other world music influences. Previously focused on mandolin, Marty Varner has seized the role as the flatpicking freak. He’s got the speed, he’s got the swagger, he’s got the vision. Anchoring the band as always, banjoist Kyle Kunert assures that Caltucky never skips a beat. These cats are bona fide string assassins and positive vibe ambassadors.
