Fifteen years ago Dad They Broke Me called it quits while, arguably, at the top of their game. No band has scratched the same itch in the passing years. Words like “crushing” and “brutal” are thrown about so flippantly but…it’s genuinely hard to properly communicate the sheer weight this band brought to a live show. The underground scene locally, in Japan and beyond were richer for their presence.
WeEmptyRooms is reissuing their belter of a final release “ROT” and, in a move no one saw coming, the band have decided to play a show to launch it! And as if that wasn’t enough to get you drooling, DEAD are on the bill too! Playing, for the first time since drummer Jem became a DAD - lock up your mothers.
