The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens is an excellent location to enjoy birdwatching. Local birding enthusiasts can participate in the annual Great Backyard Bird Count which helps gather data for researchers studying birds and bird migration. A guided bird walk will be held at 8:30am at the Gardens on Saturday, February 15. The program is limited to 20 persons and free with paid admission to the Gardens.
