The Annual Dumas/Moore County Chamber of Commerce D'Town BBQ Cook-Off takes place in McDade Park and features teams from across the Texas Panhandle and beyond. Averaging 35-40 teams, this IBCA sanctioned and State of Texas recognized cook-off features a variety of meats including brisket, pork shoulder/butt and chicken. There is usually a Cookers Choice category as well. There will also be a Kids Q for children to be able to participate in on Friday evening. (Entry fees for teams and children apply). Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded at the end of the cook-off on Saturday.
