La celebración del Día del Cine Español llega a Bruselas con la proyección de la película Tasio de Montxo Armendariz abriendo el Festival de Cine Europeo que organiza el cluster de los centros culturales europeos en Bruselas, EUNIC, en colaboración con el Cinéma Vendôme. La proyección contará con la presencia del actor protagonista de la misma, Patxi Bisquert, quien presentará la misma junto al director de cine José Luis Peñafuerte, con quien mantendrá un coloquio al finalizar la misma.
Tasio retrata el declive de la tradición de los carboneros de combustible vegetal en las sierras de Navarra (España). Sin duda, es una de las películas más recordadas por los amantes del cine español. Se aproxima de forma exquisita y naturalista a un mundo que parece apagarse, abandonarse, pero en el que su protagonista y su familia resisten la irrupción de la modernidad y de sus distintas formas de coerción.

The celebration of Spanish Cinema Day arrives in Brussels with the screening of Tasio by Montxo Armendáriz, opening the European Film Festival organized by the cluster of European cultural centers in Brussels, EUNIC, in collaboration with Cinéma Vendôme.
