❤️🔥We gather to remember. Please join us for Día de Los Muertos Salida, an evening of remembrance and appreciation with procession, music, activities and ofrenda for the community on Saturday, November 2. Gather with neighbors and friends as together, we remember our loved ones.💀The 10th annual ceremony will meet at Alpine Park at 5:45pm then we will walk down F St at 6pm and pause on the bridge to remember. Followed by a gathering at A Church featuring music by Grupo Musical Fuerza Cora Brasil Musical, sugar skull decorating, community ofrenda, potluck, stories, art, and more. Community is invited to bring a photocopy of your loved one for the community ofrenda. Community Potluck. Bring a special main dish or side that reminds you of your family or loved one. Please bring your own dinnerware!

5:30pm Drop off Potluck items at A Church (bring dinnerware)
5:45pm Meet at Alpine park for the procession
6:00pm Procession down F St, where we pause on the bridge for a short ceremony to remember
6:45pm Festivities at A Church after the procession with music, ofrenda, potluck, sugar skull decorating, and more.
8:00pm End
🧆POTLUCK: Bring a main dish or side to share. A favorite family recipe or something that reminds you of your loved one. Drop items at 5:30pm at A Church, or bring with you immediately after the procession. Label your dish at A Church. Please bring your own dinnerware!
🕯OFRENDA: A community ofrenda (altar) will be set up if you would like to display a photo of your loved one. Ofrendas can contain many items such as photographs, cempasúchil (marigolds), pan de muerto (bread of the dead), candles, salt, incense, favorite foods or drinks (representing four elements of nature such as fire, water, wind, earth); and calaveras (skulls) made of sugar, clay, Catrinas, little poems, or prints by José Posada.
❤️GET INVOLVED: Volunteers needed to help set up and clean up. To volunteer, please contact Andrea, Krista, or Tina. Decorating begins at 1pm; and cleanup is 8pm-8:30pm.
💀Día de los Muertos is brought to you by Las Tres Amigas, Cultural bearer Andrea Padilla Mossman, and local artists Krista Jarvis and Tina Gramann who are humbled to be guests in this cultural space. Produced by Salida Creativity Lab, providing diverse cultural experiences for our community.
