About this Event
Día de los Muertos is not only a day of remembrance — it is a threshold. A doorway where the living and the dead meet in breath, in memory, and in song. It is a time to honor the ones who carried us here, and to celebrate the fierce and fragile gift of being alive.
This ceremony is an invitation to step inside that doorway. With the pulse of the drum, the rise of the voice, and the movement of the body, we will journey into the places where grief has gathered, where rage has curled itself quiet, where truth has been pressed beneath the surface. Together, we will make space for the cries, the whispers, and the wild sounds that ache to be released.
You will be guided with care into practices that unravel the knots of silence and suppression — those bound in the body, carried through family lines, shaped by culture and belief. In this container, grief can breathe, anger can move, tenderness can speak, and the heart can remember its own rhythm.
We will go deep — into the dark, into the unknown, into the fertile void where endings and beginnings entwine. There, you will be invited to stand bare before the Beloved, to let yourself be heard and felt beyond the masks of mind. And from that place, we will return together, grounded, softened, and more awake to the raw pulse of life.
Bring with you what feels sacred — flowers, photos, small offerings for the altar. Above all, bring your presence. This is a ceremony for those who long to be undone, remade, and returned to themselves with greater breath, greater truth, and greater aliveness.
