Detailed Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Manali
Arrival at Manali. Check-in to the hotel and rest after your journey.
In the evening, expedition briefing, documentation check, route discussion, and equipment inspection by the expedition leader. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2: Manali to Marhi
- Distance: Approx. 35 Kms
- Gradual ascent through scenic mountain roads.
- Ride through pine forests and winding Himalayan highways.
- Acclimatization ride with increasing altitude gain.
- Overnight camping at Marhi.
Day 3: Marhi to Sissu via Rohtang Pass
- Distance: Approx. 45 Kms
- Cross the iconic Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft).
- Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views before descending into Lahaul Valley.
- Smooth downhill ride towards Sissu.
- Overnight camping/hotel stay in Sissu.
Day 4: Sissu to Jispa
- Distance: Approx. 55 Kms
- Ride alongside the Chandra River.
- Gradual ascent with stunning valley landscapes.
- Moderate terrain with steady climbs.
- Overnight camping at Jispa.
Day 5: Jispa to Zing Zing Bar
- Distance: Approx. 65 Kms
- Long high-altitude ride with challenging ascents.
- Sparse vegetation and dramatic landscapes.
- Overnight camping at Zing Zing Bar.
Day 6: Zing Zing Bar to Brandy Nallah via Baralacha La
- Distance: Approx. 40 Kms
- Cross the majestic Baralacha La (16,040 ft).
- One of the toughest climbing days of the expedition.
- Snow patches and glacial streams en route (weather dependent).
- Overnight camping at Brandy Nallah.
Day 7: Brandy Nallah to Pang via Nakee La & Lachulung La
- Distance: Approx. 75 Kms
- Cross high passes including Nakee La and Lachulung La.
- Rugged terrain with steep ascents and thrilling descents.
- Overnight camping at Pang.
Day 8: Pang to Debring via More Plains
- Distance: Approx. 50 Kms
- Ride across the spectacular More Plains plateau.
- Long stretches of flat high-altitude road with strong winds.
- Overnight camping at Debring.
Day 9: Debring to Rumtse via Tanglang La
- Distance: Approx. 65 Kms
- Conquer Tanglang La (17,582 ft approx.).
- One of the highest motorable passes in the world.
- Technical descent towards Rumtse.
- Overnight camping/homestay.
Day 10: Rumtse to Leh
- Distance: Approx. 80 Kms
- Gradual descent along the Indus Valley.
- Reach Leh town by afternoon.
- Celebration dinner and certificate distribution.
- Overnight stay in hotel at Leh.
Day 11: Leh to Khardung La & Back
- Distance: Approx. 40 Kms (uphill + downhill)
- Early morning ride to Khardung La (17,982 ft approx.).
- One of the highest motorable passes globally.
- Return ride to Leh.
- Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 12: Departure
Morning breakfast and check-out. Expedition concludes with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.
